In this article, we explain possible reasons for a charge despite cancellation.
A further charge after your cancellation can have the following reasons:
- End of contract:
Please check the exact end date of your contract. Until the contract period expires, further fees are due and will therefore be charged.
- Missing cancellation:
If your studio has not received a cancellation, your account will continue to be charged because the membership remains in an uncancelled status.
- Cancellation was not submitted on time:
If your cancellation was not submitted within the deadline, your contract may be in an extension period. Your account will continue to be charged because the membership ends in the future.
- Automatic extension due to pause periods:
If you requested a pause during your membership, the contract is extended by the time the contract was paused.
- A chargeback occurred before the end of the contract:
If a chargeback has occurred, the amount we charged will be credited back to your account. However, in our system, this is marked as not yet paid. Therefore, it can happen that a new charge attempt occurs after the contract end.
- Consumptions/purchases in the studio:
If you made purchases in the studio after the last membership fee payment before your contract ended, it can happen that these are charged from your account after your contract has ended.
