Here you can learn more about debits outside your contract periods.
Debits can occur despite a terminated, not yet started, or non-existent contract for various reasons:
- Missing cancellation:
If your studio has not received a cancellation, your account will continue to be charged because the membership remains in an uncanceled status.
- Cancellation was not submitted on time:
If your cancellation was not submitted within the deadline, your contract may be in an extension period. Your account will continue to be charged because the membership ends in the future.
- Contract term:
Check your contract documents to see if your contract automatically renews if not canceled. In this case, amounts will continue to be debited until the contract term actually ends.
- Withdrawal was not submitted on time:
If you withdrew from your contract concluded outside the studio and the withdrawal was made outside the withdrawal period (14 days from contract conclusion). In this case, amounts will continue to be debited until the contract term actually ends.
- Withdrawal was not properly executed:
If you withdrew within the 14-day withdrawal period with the words “Herewith I cancel my contract,” it may be considered a proper cancellation. This expresses the intention of a timely cancellation.
- Contract with prior use before contract start:
If you concluded a contract with prior use before the contract start, you are allowed to use the studio and booked services before the contract begins. If costs are incurred before the contract start, these amounts will also be debited from your account before the contract begins (e.g., consumption in the studio or flat rates become due at the start of use).
- Automatic extension due to pause periods:
If you requested a pause during your membership, the contract is extended by the time your contract was paused.
A returned debit occurred before contract end:
If a returned debit has occurred, the amount we debited will be credited back to your account. However, it is then marked as unpaid with us. Therefore, it may happen that a new debit attempt occurs after the contract has ended.
- Consumption/purchases in the studio:
If you made purchases in the studio after the last payment before your contract ended, it may happen that these are debited from your account after your contract has ended.
Please contact your studio directly if there are discrepancies or further questions.
