If a debit fails and a chargeback occurs, we will automatically attempt to collect the outstanding amount again.
So you do not need to take any action yourself after the first failed debit.
Instead, you will be informed by us via email and SMS:
If you have already paid the outstanding fee in the past few days, please ignore this email. We will not carry out another direct debit. The bank transfer can take up to 3 business days. Within 3 business days, you can check our payment portal again to see what is still outstanding. To view the portal in English, simply switch from DE to EN in the top right-hand corner.
If it happens that you have made a transfer yourself, it is possible that the timing of your transfer and the sending of our letter to you overlapped.
In this case, you can ignore our letter. Just keep an eye on the payment portal to verify that your payment has been received by us.
